Los Angelas Retro Wedding: Everett & Cara

Los Angelas Retro Wedding: Everett & Cara

Couple: Everett & Cara

Everett met Cara through mutual friends who insisted they try going out on a date, and they’ve been close every day since. The wedding was a beautiful celebration, and the true love could be felt radiating in every corner. Everyone had such a wonderful time celebrating the day, and Cara said her favorite part was feeling how happy all her family members truly were for them on their special day. Everett also surprised Cara by having every guest join in and sing in the choir during the reception—she said it made her feel like she was in a real storybook wedding straight out of a movie.

Cara looked gorgeous in her wedding dress that she said perfectly encompassed her personality. She said she knew exactly what she wanted from the start, but that made finding the right dress a bit difficult. She tried on a variety of other dresses at various boutiques before setting her eyes on her gown. The wedding was a wonderful celebration, and the bride and groom left a lot of the details up to the wedding planner, including the color scheme. Rather than focusing on all the little details, like picking out just the right table settings or runners, they instead set their sights on just enjoying the day and the time they’d be spending with all of their closest friends and relatives.

One thing they were sure about, however, is the venue in which they chose to host their wedding. They loved the history and romantic feel it had, and once they toured through it, they booked it the very next day because they were certain that’s where they wanted their wedding to be. They wanted a romantic feel, but they also liked a bit of  a vintage or retro tone. They incorporated their tastes beautifully into the day and every guest felt like they were entering into a friendly atmosphere—it was like a giant gathering where everyone felt at home.

Everett and his dad took a special trip to Utah before the wedding so he could have a custom hat made by Tatton Baird Hatters. With his hat, the bride’s gown, and the wonderfully loving atmosphere, it was a truly magical day for everyone invited.
