Style Story: Windy Saddle Park
This editorial elopement photoshoot at Windy Saddle Park in Golden, Colorado provided a picturesque scene of the stunning Colorado mountains and valleys. Windy Saddle Park is properly named for being the overlook point of our session and was filled with wind whipping up through the valley to us. The wind was exactly what I was hoping for to fully capture the beauty of a wind-swept elopement in the mountains of Colorado.
The elegant, intimate setting was perfect for our couple who were close friends with a natural connection and ease. The ornate features of the hair comb from Emma and Grace bridal boutique graced the bride’s hair with a touch of romantic elegance. Her loosely woven braid and wisps of hair created a soft look that was created by Kristen Bruskotter of Tangled and Teased Hair and Make Up. Her gown was a delicate fabric that covered her shoulders with a sheer fabric and then flowed long into a beautiful train. Our groom was both rugged and vintage with long locks and a classic-looking suit and suspenders.
I love the moments right past sunset as our groom led his bride off into the dusk, into their happily-ever after. This session was a dream to photograph, and I look forward to many future elopements and intimate weddings at this beautiful spot.
