50’s Inspired Retro Engagement Session: Anthony & Ashley

Couple: Anthony & Ashley

Ashley and Tony were old neighborhood friends when they were teenagers. They came back into contact with each other a couple years back and started dating almost three years ago. As a first date, Tony took Ashley to her favorite restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory. As a couple they enjoy karaoke, concerts, and amusement parks.
The Proposal in Ashley Words: “He (Tony) had been spending weeks working on my Christmas gift. He kept throwing me off the wall hints to throw me off. It was Christmas morning and our kids were with their other parents for the morning, and wouldn’t be home till noon. I told him we should do our gifts to each other while we waited. He disagreed and said he wanted to wait till all of our family and friends came over for Christmas dinner. Being my stubborn and impatient self, I told him it was about us, not about them. So he gave in. He handed me a large box wrapped in gift wrap. Each box had another, smaller box, inside that one. When I finally got to the last box it was a ring box, but it was empty. There was a note inside that told me to turn around, and there he was on his knee. I had no idea! All I could do was cry.”
