So we’ve all heard the stories of the bride who doesn’t want to be upstaged at her own wedding, and as a result, she selects the most horrendous dress with an equally horrendous color for her bridal party to wear. Although we know this isn’t always the story, when told that a selection has been maid for a dress, there soon follows a looming question. And the question that pops up in most bridesmaid’s or maid-of-honor’s head is whether her dress will end up being the one-night stand of her wardrobe.

Speaking from a bridesmaid’s perspective, we know the dress isn’t going to last a lifetime, but we’d hope to at least get a few wears out of it besides just on the wedding day.
