So this is one of the most quaint cities that we’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Charleston, SC has so much to offer that it’s in our opinion, the perfect destination for a southern honeymoon. The scenery alone is breathtaking, with its picturesque views of historical mansions and darling parks. It’s the perfect city to stroll through, hand in hand, as beautiful churches, restaurants, and art galleries come into view.

There are beautiful Inns located throughout the city that will suit your fancy. So whether you want to be in the thick of things closer to tourist sites such as the city market and hip restaurants like Cypress, Blossom, and Magnolia; or you’d rather be close to tranquil parks by the shoreline, Charleston is the place to be. This Inn located on Meeting street is just an example of the accommodations you can find in Charleston. Across the street is the park that we’ve unanimously dubbed the “wedding park.” We even saw a couple exchanging their vows as we strolled along the soothing walkways.

The shopping possibilities are endless, so bring your travelers checks, credit cards, or cash, because whether it’s Gucci, Louis Vuitton, or Forever 21; there’s something for everyone. Be sure to replenish your energy by stopping in one of the cute little restaurants that fill the cobble stone streets and brick sidewalks. Bocci’s for instance has such a wonderful ambiance (night or day) that you’ll practically feel like your dining in Little Italy.

Without a doubt, Charleston is Outre-Approved. It’s a city full of history, art, and romance. It’s the perfect place for a honeymoon. But don’t take our word for it, check it out for yourselves.
