Meet Scott and Erin. These two lovebirds are avid animal lovers and very much involved in the animal world. Scott Edwards is the owner of Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch, a nonprofit wildlife zoo. Erin Balon owns Canine Cowboy, a unique puppy and dog boarding facility. With the love they share for all animals, it only made sense to incorporate elements in their elopement that represent their unique exotic lifestyles.

The couple couldn’t have chosen a more memorable date, 2/22/22. Not only did the date fall on a Tuesday, but they also said their I do’s at 2:22. The windy and overcast nature of the day gave a level of mysticism to the ceremony, which translated into some outstanding photographs. The bride’s bohemian look featured a teal mermaid gown draped with a breathable teal knit shawl, which inspired the entire color theme. The groom wore a blacktail tuxedo jacket and funky black corset skinny jeans fashioned with a black leather top hat and a teal silk scarf to match his bride.

A coiling surprise guest, a beautiful large 5 1/2 ft long Dumeril’s boa, Ga’Luna, is one of Scott’s residents from his zoo and can be seen blowing slithery kisses and entwining the couple together throughout the ceremony. Their special day consisted of masculine and feminine touches, a specialty of Lizzy Gator. Some notable design details are the chocolate color accessories, zebra print table runners, bamboo utensils, wooden wine glasses, and feather and porcupine accessories located on the sweetheart table.
