Style Story: Southern Belle and Her Handsome Officer

Alivia Crawford and Michael Schmidt are a real engaged couple about to tie the knot this October. Michael is a police officer for Montgomery County in Maryland – and the sweetest, funniest guy you’ll ever meet! They are certainly the most humble and sweetest couple you’ll ever meet – and stunning together!

Michael proposed to Alivia by hiring a guitarist and sang the song “Olivia” by One Direction and surprised her with both their families popping up as he got down on one knee!

Grace Malone, the owner of the Southern Belle Wedding Barn in Delmar, MD, was super excited when I told her my ideas for the styled shoot, but I was more excited about what the other vendors would be creating for this styled shoot. I always prefer to work with real engaged/married couples for styled shoots because that kind of affection and love is best shown between a real life couple. Being able to work in the wedding industry and collaborate with fellow artists is absolutely amazing and everyone I worked with for this shoot really brought their A-game. ~ Landrum Photography
